Enjoy 14 days exploring the best of Colombia. Discover the bustling cities, rich tropical forests, gorgeous beaches, coffee regions and more!
Start your adventure off with a city tour of Bogota, exploring its important historic centers and fantastic museums. Enjoy a cable car ride to the top of Monserrate Hill, where you’ll have incredible views of the city from above.
Then, transfer to an eco-lodge in Nuqui, with wonderful sea views and the lush jungle surrounding you. Enjoy this time to explore, surf, kayak, dive and more!
Later, you will transfer to Armenia, where you’ll observe the production process of coffee, from harvest to the cup! By the end of this tour, you’ll be a true coffee sommelier! While in Armenia, you’ll also visit one of the most stunning valleys in the country, where you’ll find the Palma de Cera, one of the tallest palms in the world.
After spending time in Armenia, you’ll then head for San Agustin, where you’ll visit the famed Archaeological Park, the Salto del Mortino waterfall, as well as other stunning scenery and waterfalls.
Before heading home, you’ll have plenty of time to visit Cartagena, a city filled with beautiful churches, museums, plazas and more!
You will end your tour with a trip to the Baru & Rosario Islands, where you’ll explore, swim, hang out on the beach, and enjoy some relaxation before flying home.
With so much to discover, this is the trip of a lifetime!
You will be met at the airport upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Bogota hotel for two nights, daily breakfast included.
You'll start your guided tour of Bogota at the Plaza de Bolivar and the government buildings that surround it. Continue to the old part of the city known as La Candelaria, the San Francisco Church, the Gold Museum, and the Emerald Museum.
Take a cable car to the top of Monserrate Hill and enjoy the spectacular view.
You'll be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Nuquí.
From the airport, you will be transferred to the El Cantil eco-lodge. El Cantil overlooks the sea and is equipped with seven comfortable rooms, with a maximum capacity of six people per room, they have excellent bathrooms with a jungle view, closets and each bed cover with a mosquito net, ocean view terraces, and wood shingled roof.
Also available are two power boats, surfboards, kayak, diving equipment, a compressor for tanks filling and boogie boards.
This morning you will transfer back to the Nuquí Airport for your flight to Armenia. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Armenia hotel. Overnight for two nights with daily breakfast included.
Today you will visit a special coffee growing farm. This visit includes an introduction to the technical and practical process, from cultivation to production, from harvest to cup. You'll become a true coffee connoisseur!
Then, visit one of the most beautiful valleys in Colombia. You'll find the Palma de Cera, the national tree and one of the tallest types of palm in the world. Your tour of the Cocora Valley can be on foot or horseback (at additional cost). On the way back to Armenia the tour ends with a visit to Salento a picturesque village with an important the coffee culture.
This morning you will take a transfer to the airport for a flight to Neiva. From the airport you'll travel 4-5 hours through the mountains to San Agustin. You'll reach the village and a beautiful hotel that will be your home for the next three nights.
After breakfast, visit San Agustín Archaeological Park, to Mesitas A – B – C and D, the “Fuente Ceremonial de Lavapatas” and the “Archaeological Museum”.
Around noon, you'll take a trip to the nearby village of San José de Isnos, which also includes the spectacular landscapes surrounding the “Salto del Mortiño” waterfall.
Towards the end of the day, return trip to San Agustín. Time to rest and explore the village.
After breakfast depart on a trip to the nearby village of San José de Isnos, to see the treasures of its archaeological park, the “Alto de los Ídolos”, “Alto de las Piedras”, and the “Salto Del Mortiño” waterfalls.
In the afternoon return to San Agustín where you will have free time for exploration.
Today you will transfer back to the airport for a flight to Cartagena. Transfer to your hotel for the next 3 nights.
Enjoy a spectacular tour of Cartagena de Indias. You'll visit the Convent of La Popa, the highest point in the city.
You will then go to the Castillo de San Felipe, an immense fort filled with history hidden in its stone-walled tunnels.
Then, visit the monument to Zapatos Viejos, the “Old Shoes”.
A defensive wall surrounds the old city, which overlooks the sea and its well-preserved colonial architecture makes Cartagena deserving of the title UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will find churches, museums, plazas, restaurants, shops and jewelry stores.
You will be picked up at your hotel and brought to the pier where you will take a speedboad across the Cartagena Bay, through Bocachica towards El Rosario Islands.
Your first stop is at Cholon beaches where you'll enjoy the stunning, clear waters.
Continue on to Pirate Island where you'll be welcomed with coffee break and some extra time to swim or just relax on the island.
After lunch, you'll continue to San Martin Island and a visit to the aquarium.
After that, you begin the return trip to Pirate Island where there will be more time to relax, swim or snorkel. In the afternoon you return to Cartagena where you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Transfer to the airport for your departing flight.
