About this program

This great value tour of Jordan covers all the major sites including Amman, Jerash, Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea, and is the perfect introduction to amazing Jordan. Starting in the bustling capital of Amman we take a day trip out to the well preserved Roman remains at Jerash before heading across to the Dead Sea for a quick float in its salty waters. We then head south along the King Highway towards the Petra, visiting Madaba, Mount Nebo, and the spectacular crusader castle at Kerak en route. Next is a full day to explore the wonderful “Rose Red City” of Petra. Walk along the Siq and wonder at the majesty of the might Treasury built more than 2,000 years before. Continuing south we stop at Wadi Rum, famous for its links with the British Army officer Lawrence of Arabia. After a 4×4 jeep ride through the moonscape desert scenery we return to Amman where the tour ends.

This tour connects well with our Fantastic Israel tour, and we can arrange overland or flight transfers to connect the two together.
