About this program

Experience traditional healing in Ecuador with the Sapara people in the Amazon Jungle. An experience unlike any other, you will take part in ceremonies and cleansing with local medicinal plants.

Participate in dream sharing and interpretation, river bathing and much more, allowing yourself to fully cleanse your spirit!

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Transfer from the airport to Inraki

Day 2: Quito to Baños

From Inraki lodge we will drive to the touristic town of Baños, famous for its adventure sports and wellness retreats. Once we arrive in town you will be on your own and decide the multiple activities such as, visit the waterfalls, practice canyoning or just relax and receive a massage. Lodging will be at Hotel Sangay. B/D

Day 3: Shell to Llanchamacocha

After breakfast, we will drive to Shell where our plane will be waiting for us to take us above the Amazon rainforest. From Shell, there is a short 30-minute flight to the community of Llanchamacocha. A We will have a welcome from the community there and receive a cleaning ritual. Prepare our body and spirit for the next few days. B/L/D

Day 4: Dream Sharing

We wake up in the jungle and share our dreams to learn from their meaning. Today we receive a bath with medicinal plants and a cleaning of tobacco and ashes. B/L/D

Day 5: Explore Conambo River

We will go down the River Conambo and camp on the beach. Day of river and fishing. B/L/D

Day 6: Ancestral Ceremony

Interpretation of dreams, bathing in the river, and rest. We learn from the worldview Sapara. Men tell us how to make baskets. Ancestral ceremony. B/L/D

Day 7: Llanchamacocha to Shell

We will say goodbye and leave the community. Before leaving, we will have the Opportunity to buy handicrafts. Again we will take the airplane to Shell where our Van will be waiting for us to take us back to Inraki Lodge. B/L/D

Day 8: Departure

We will say goodbye to Ecuador. We will take you to the airport to take your flight back to Quito. B
