Before you say goodbye, we’d love you to join our movement for applied wildlife conservation.
We won’t share your information, and we pay close attention to what we send out.
And if you’d rather not, that’s cool too. You can still follow our efforts on social media.
We’re glad you signed up.
If for whatever reason you’re unhappy with our messages you can unsubscribe at any time. Just click ‘Unsubscribe’ at the bottom of every email we send.
But we hope you stick around. We’re just getting started at something pretty good.
Italy is filled with incredible culture, history, food, and art. Here’s your chance to be a part of an environmental program that works to preserve the historical and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Naples. You may be part of several important projects, including environmental preservation, awareness, preservation of archaeological ruins or protected marine life, farming, administrative support, running workshops, and so much more.
As a volunteer, your tasks will vary, but is best suited if you have a good level of energy, ability to take initiative, and most importantly an interest in environmental preservation and hard work.
**This program is not available from November to March and operates from Wednesday to Sunday. Please budget $5 per day for public transport**
The volunteer schedule may depend on the needs of the project, however, a typical schedule appears as follows:
After your orientation, you may have a morning, afternoon, or evening shift which lasts the duration of 3-5 hours. A morning shift is generally:
7:30 am - Breakfast
8:30 am - Travel to the placement and begin project work.
1:30 pm - Placement work ends. Travel back to volunteer apartment for lunch. Your afternoon is free to enjoy sightseeing, shopping, or possible Italian language classes.
